This is where you come in...
We’re building out the marketing team here at The Plum Guide, and one of our aims is to recruit passionate content creators to sit within a studio team. You’ll already have had a few years experience working in a similar role, creating highly shareable videos for social media channels (specifically Facebook, Instagram, Instagram Stories). We’re looking for someone with experience on shoots, who’s confident commissioning videographers from other cities - and just as happy editing UGC in our London office.
In-house video production is a new venture for us, so we’re looking for a strong allrounder to hit the ground running - you’ll be equally comfortable shooting, producing and editing. Video has huge potential to become a pivotal part of the machine that powers viral organic growth for Plum, and this role will help set the vision.
Consistently produce engaging videos, optimised for social media channels
Work with freelance filmmakers to commission quality video that engages our audience
Brief and coordinate video shoots around the world, working to tight budgets and timelines
Lead on London-based video shoots
Manage multiple creative projects throughout all stages of development, from ideation to post-production
Leverage social media to discover great videographers and UGC content
Help build our brand awareness
Work collaboratively with wider content team to grow and innovate marketing channels
Who we are looking for
You don’t need to have prior experience in hospitality or tech start ups. The important thing is that you are:
A skilled creative, motivated by high quality output and data informed
Experience telling stories through engaging social videos
Proven track record successfully growing social accounts and user engagement with video
Ability to work at speed, without letting standards slip
Full proficiency in Adobe Premiere
Dynamic and hard-working, able to juggle multiple projects
Active social media user with an inquisitive mind for new features, platforms, trends
Passion for Plum and the intersection of verticals the brand embodies
Degree in film production (or equivalent) and three years experience in a similar role
Experience in a fast-paced working environment is a bonus
A team player and a positive, motivating person to be around
