We are taking a systematic approach to testing every single home on the planet, accepting only the top 1%. We do so by putting each home through The Plum Test: a gruelling hospitality exam, which uses a mix of algorithms and physical visits by hospitality experts.

We launched three years ago in London. We are now very excited to be opening our New York office. In this position you will become an integral member of our outstanding US team. You’ll be a key part to our expansion into the US. We currently operate in New York City and LA but we want to become bigger in those cities while we expand to new ventures.

We are launching our global rollout strategy and growing our exceptional team.

The Mission

The mission as a Customer Sales Executive is to match our Guests with the perfect Plum home for their holiday.

The Role

You will handle inbound requests and enquiries from our guests. You’ll be the first port of call for clients who engage with us, explaining Plum Guide and its benefits and wowing them with your local knowledge and love of travel.

You will speak to them on the phone, on chat and by email. You will be able to understand their needs, their style and what they will love and advise on the most relevant accommodation plum can offer. You need to be speedy, able to multi-task and focus.

Your targets will include:

  • Hit sales targets of 3X growth
  • Increase conversion every month
  • Ensure Plum Guests are happy

You will be part of a friendly, hard-working, competitive team and working in an environment that is focused on learning, improving and delivering.

As we are growing, we are keen to add more language skills to the team. We are looking for people with fluent or professional working language skills in Danish, French, German, Hebrew, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish. Please note this is not a necessity for the role. 

Our office is open 7 days a week and shifts for all Sales team members at Plum Guide include working weekends.

About You

  • Are excited about being part of a rapidly growing business.
  • Have sales or travel experience
  • Are a positive person and understand what exceptional customer service is.
  • Availability to work full-time across a varied schedule 
  • Have great city knowledge of one of the following; New York, LA, Miami, Washington or Boston
